Mens Personal Development Group
This Course is Free of Charge
Every Tuesday at 1pm until 2pm This is a therapeutic learning group designed for men who have suffered anxiety and/or low self-esteem and would benefit from an environment where self-expression is encouraged by informal learning.
It combines structured learning with group counselling and can be attended on a drop in basis.
You may start to attend the group at any time and still benefit from the therapeutic environment, which facilitates learning and personal growth.
No pens or paper are required.
No homework is required.
You will learn about issues specific to men and explore how self-esteem can be effected by role models that present impossible ideals and stereotypes
Discuss your personal experiences and areas where you would like to gain more confidence.
You can expect a group of roughly 5 to 15 men from 18 to retirement years.
There will be a group facilitator who will prepare a subject for discussion.
Further opportunities for confidence exercises will be offered to those wishing to develop confidence in public speaking and assertive communication.
An Understanding self-Process certificate will be issued to all attendees with a list of the subjects learned during attendance.
The certificate represents personal development and philosophical thought that has been expressed during a 4-month period.
